Ahead of the World Nuclear Symposium, we at the CGLN are delighted to be partnering with international law firm, Cleary Gottlieb, to host a one-day conference looking into the role that nuclear technologies can play in solving the climate crisis.
In anticipation of the event, CGLN Director Yulia Chekunaeva sat down with Maurits Dolmans, CGLN Fellow and Partner at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton and to outline why we are putting together this event and to begin to discuss the role that new nuclear technology can play in solving the climate crisis and providing much needed energy security.
Yulia and Maurits discussed the key benefits of new nuclear technologies, where they fit in terms of other energy solutions and the need for various stakeholders to better cooperate to deliver nuclear as a solution.
